This past September, the the BVGAYS did a presentation on Autumn Flower Arrangements at the South Shore Farmer's Market.  Using cuttings from members' gardens, Dan, Bill and Thom showed off their flower arranging skills.  It was an excellent opportunity to let the community know about our club!

Every spring, the BVGAYS plants an annual garden at the Firehouse on Kinnickinnic Avenue in Bay View.  The annuals are generously provided by the City of Milwaukee Forestry Department.  During the first year of the project, the club also donated yews, dogwoods, junipers, and arbor vitae to enhance the appearance Firehouse.

The club members hard at work.
All that hard work sure paid off!
The club was very pleased with how well the landscaping looked.
